PROTOTYPES

SafetyWrap Dispenser

In the foodservice industry, cardboard plastic wrap boxes are quickly being replaced by the patented SafetyWrap® Dispenser. The easily portable devices dispense film safely, cleanly and efficiently. PROTOGENESIS helped inventors speed this innovative product to market by making them an attractive, working prototype.

What is a Prototype?
A prototype is the original upon which remaining products will be patterned. Prototypes are used to prove new-product concepts, check and refine designs prior to production, test-market, present to investors or management for approval, illustrate products at trade shows and demonstrations, photograph for marketing purposes, and facilitate fabrication of production tooling.

Sony Videoconferencing Module

Sony moved the video and audio communications revolution forward with the introduction of its new PCS-V4 videoconferencing module. PROTOGENESIS used three-dimensional CAD/CAM and CNC machining to build working prototypes for beta-testing. "The president of Sony scrutinized the prototypes and approved the project himself," said the Operations Manager for Sony Engineering and Manufacturing of America. PROTOGENESIS is proud to work with Sony, an unquestioned leader in innovative product development.

SeaQuest Inc. of Carlsbad, CA designed this buckle for a scuba diving vest. Before gearing into production, SeaQuest required prototypes for strength testing. These prototypes were machined from solid delrin. PROTOGENESIS unique capabilities allowed to do this in a matter of days.
